Dr. Michele Blackwell
I am Board Certified In Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine as well as in Obstetrics and Gynecology, currently practicing general Gynecology, having retired from the practice of Obstetrics in 2013. I have been in practice since 1998, having worked in academic environment for the first 10 years of my career, and making the move into private practice in 2009. I am now able to focus on providing more individualized health care for both women and men as we age and go through hormonal changes associated with aging. I am fascinated by the aging human body and ways to improve quality of life as we age and prevention of diseases. With that in mind, hormonal imbalances can occur as early as the third decade of life. I am constantly learning in an effort to improve the quality of women’s and men’s’ lives.
Athough My Practice Is A Mostly Routine Gynecology, Areas Of Special Interest To Me Are:
- Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery: Robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery, including Single-Site surgery, and minimally invasive in-office procedures to treat heavy bleeding, cervical dysplasia, and sterilization
- I also have a special interest in bio-identical hormone replacement (both conventional and compounded), thyroid disorders and adrenal fatigue
Hospital Affiliations:
- Clear Lake Regional Medical Center
